Our climate hall
With a room volume of more than 770 m³, VL Thermo-Solutions GmbH has one of the largest independent climate halls in Europe. Coupled with the professional competence of the laboratory staff and precise measurement technology, this ultimately means the highest standard of simulations of any kind under extreme environmental conditions. Whether it is sun load, temperature or relative humidity. We realize independently and customized your environmental requirements in our climate hall.

Climate hall for
environmental simulations
In our climate hall, we offer you an extensive test environment. We generate arctic temperatures down to -35°C as well as desert-like temperatures up to +60°C. Depending on the application, a modular solar load simulation with a capacity up to 1,200 W/m² can be switched on. The relative humidity in our climate hall can also be regulated between 10% and 90%.
In summary, almost all earthly climate conditions for your test objects can be generated in our climate hall.
Dimensions
Due to the size of the climate hall of 23m length, 5.85m width and a height of 5.75m, it can be used for a wide range of applications. In addition, the climate hall can be separated in half its length in order to be able to test more compact test objects efficiently and ecologically.
This results in a comprehensive range of services for a wide variety of industries such as construction and agricultural machinery, cabin construction, insulated transport vehicles, pharmaceutical logistics (GDP), air conditioning systems, buses, caravans and special vehicles.
Calibrated instruments
We have a wide portfolio of different calibrated measurement instruments. Our temperature measuring instruments are always in best condition thanks to our own calibrator and is regularly metrologically traceable calibrated.
On request, we are happy to provide you with our in-house instruments. Likewise, you can also use your own measuring instruments.
We offer expertise
Our experienced team will fully accompany and support your stay in the climate hall, as well as take over the control and regulation of the climate hall.
In addition to environmental simulations, we can draw on a great deal of experience in the implementation and supervision of standard tests.
